It really was amazing just how peaceful the stay was.Īnother plus was the fact that we were able to use IHG points to book the reservation. And even though the hotel was at or near capacity, we never heard another guest while in our room. Overall, I like that the elevator requires a key card for access, I like the location, I like the friendly front desk staff, and I like the layout and condition of the room. I realize that sounds like a lengthy complaint, but it really was a minor inconvenience compared to how much of a positive everything else was. One day I had to go down to the front desk to get toilet paper as there was no reserve roll and what was in the room when we arrived was less than a quarter roll. Three days the trash had been emptied and the towels replaced, one day a member of housekeeping knocked on the door at 5:30 to tell us they were skipping us because they were behind, and two consecutive days they did nothing. Each day of our 6 night stay we would leave the room by 8:30 AM and return approximately 4:30 PM. The only issue I had was the inconsistency in housekeeping. I do wish it had a microwave in addition to the refrigerator, but that seems to be a common issue among Denver hotels. Given that it was 100° on several occasions during our visit, the efficient air conditioning was much appreciated. The room was spacious, the mattress was very comfortable, the bathroom was much larger than I expected, and there was plenty of storage. From honoring our room request, to helping us get housekeeping supplies, to even loaning me a stapler, they were always so pleasant to help with each request. The front desk staff went above and beyond at every turn to make sure our stay met our expectations. The location Is perfect for those without a car, as it offers walking access to wonderful food and other retail conveniences.
